Pune, India - July 11, 2018 /MarketersMedia/ —

The global Redox Flow Battery market is valued at 130 million US$ in 2017 and will reach 370 million US$ by the end of 2025, growing at a CAGR of 14.3% during 2018-2025.

A flow battery, or redox flow battery (after reduction–oxidation), is a type of rechargeable battery where recharge ability is provided by two chemical components dissolved in liquids contained within the system and separated by a membrane. Ion exchange (providing flow of electric current) occurs through the membrane while both liquids circulate in their own respective space. Cell voltage is chemically determined by the Nernst equation and ranges, in practical applications, from 1.0 to 2.2 volts. The performance of these devices is governed by the considerations of electrochemical engineering.

North America and Asia-Pacific are the two largest countries with flow batteries Installation Capacity in the world, both the two countries take more than 80% of the world in 2017. Europe behind them, with about 15.09% market share.

There are more than seven main types of flow batteries in mass production or development stage in the market now. Vanadium Flow Battery is the main types, which can occupied about 70 percent revenue market share.
Currently, Sumitomo Electric, Dalian Rongke Power are the top two companies and lead in flow batteries with 29.33% and 19.29% revenue market share in 2017, respectively.

Oct 19, 2018

The Latest on the disappearance of Saudi writer Jamal Khashoggi, a Washington Post columnist who went missing after entering the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul earlier this month (all times Eastern Daylight Time): 9:15 p.m. A U.N. expert says the world is witnessing "a new and very worrisome practice" of governments abducting people in foreign countries using undercover operations, citing the case of missing Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Bernard Duhaime, chair of the U.N. Working Group on Enforced Disappearances, told the U.N. Pressure turns to Mexico as migrant caravan heads for border

Oct 19, 2018

GUATEMALA CITY — As some 3,000 Hondurans made their way through Guatemala, attention turned to Mexico, after U.S. President Donald Trump threatened Thursday to close the U.S.-Mexico border if authorities there fail to stop them — a nearly unthinkable move that would disrupt hundreds of thousands of legal freight, vehicle and pedestrian crossings each day. With less than three weeks before the Nov. 6 midterm elections, Trump seized on the migrant caravan to make border security a political issue and energize his Republican base. "I must, in the strongest of terms, ask Mexico to stop this onslaught — and if...

NTSB hasn't fully examined limo in NY crash that killed 20

Oct 19, 2018

WASHINGTON — Federal safety investigators have been unable to conduct a full examination of the limousine involved in a crash that killed 20 people nearly two weeks ago in upstate New York because of a criminal case against the limo company's operator. While the National Transportation Safety Board says it is working cooperatively with local officials, people familiar with the matter told The Associated Press on Thursday that investigators have expressed frustration over their inability to fully examine the limousine. They spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity in order to discuss sensitive conversations. The limo remains in...

Mexico prosecutors find fraud in Venezuela food aid program

Oct 19, 2018

MEXICO CITY — Prosecutors said Thursday that people linked to the Venezuelan government and Mexican companies conspired to overcharge Venezuela for basic food aid packages. Known as "CLAP" packages, the food is supposedly subsidized by Venezuela's socialist administration to provide a bare level of subsistence to many families facing hunger amid the country's hyperinflation and economic breakdown. But Mexican prosecutors said an investigation found that the Venezuelan officials and Mexican businessmen bought poor quality items in bulk and exported them to Venezuela at more than double their real price. Mexico's top organized crime prosecutor, Israel Lira, said the suspects have...

Evacuation lifted after California gas pipeline scare

Oct 19, 2018

SAN FRANCISCO — Emergency crews extinguished a fire burning dangerously close to a Chevron underground natural gas pipeline Thursday and lifted an evacuation order that had forced some 4,000 residents from their homes the night before. Contra Costa County Deputy Fire Chief Lewis Broschard told reporters that all evacuation orders were lifted as of 2:30 p.m. Thursday, about 15 hours after some 1,400 homes were evacuated near the city of Bay Point. Broschard said officials decided quickly to issue evacuations "so we could get people out of harm's way if there were to be a big explosion." At a news...
